Let’s Build and Buy Some Dog Houses!!

Animal Protectors on Campus (APOC) and New Mexico Animal Friends (NMAF) are teaming up to provide some low income, disabled, and elderly folks with new doghouses for their animals this winter. And we need your help! If you have a doghouse to give, or can help build some, or can donate money to buy them, we need you!

To donate money for supplies and doghouses, please call Viki Elkey at 730-1511, or email Vicki Morris at vjmorris@unm.edu. For around $25, we can buy all the materials needed for one house!

To help build them, please come by the Southwest Research and Information Center’s parking lot at 105 Stanford SE in Albuquerque (UNM area) (around back -- next to the Frontier Restaurant), on Saturday and Sunday October 27th and 28th from 10 am until 4 pm. There will be refreshments, all the materials we need, and plenty of folks having a good time.

So join us, and if you have them, bring some tools! You can find the plans we will be using along with a list of tools needed at www.woodzone.com/plans/doghouse/doghouse_plans.htm

Please contact Viki Elkey at 730-1511 if you are planning on coming by so we can have plenty of materials and food available!
